And he slid out a small door in the heel of his shoe. Inside was his deepest truth. He walked on crutches to the end of the chalkboard and drew a picture of a puppy and an arrow, pointing toward the door. The arrow pointed to where the puppies were.

So much effort has been put toward finding a way to:
a) Make GB ashamed of his attitudes, words or actions
or b) Make supporters of GB believe GB should be ashamed

GB has no capacity for shame, or the expression of shame. As long as this remains true, he will be immune from a) and b).

We're not going to do our production as a museum piece. Too many theater companies are always treating Shakespeare like he was some sort of god, and they miss the whole point of how timeless and spiritual his work is. If Shakespeare was here today, he'd be waiting tables by night at Rock Bottom Brewery and by day he would sleep. And when he would be awake, and not waiting tables or getting ready to sleep, or getting up from sleeping, he would write just as timeless as he did in his own time, but with modern words. And it would still be timeless. He had a gift, which is as much valid today as it is in modern times.

Blinded by hate. The liberals are blinded by their hate of the President and of his party. You can see it and hear it when they speak about their own causes. They cannot get past the hate they have for the President. They have trouble forming or expressing their opinions, because they are so angry. Whatever trigger that Bush tripped in these people, they can't get past it. Watch and you will see: liberals will stew and stew and stew these next four years. They will sputter and fuss and turn red and steam will come out their ears, but they will always be stuck on their hatred for the man in charge.

George Bush is like a battle cruiser, fixed on a destination and heading there full-steam, and the liberals are like a submarine whose captain keeps attacking the battleship's wake. As long as the liberals focus on George Bush's "wake", they will remain outside of the official political leadership, sure: but they will also remain outside of any power to cause change. Leaders lead.
